The Arts and Culture Level 4 material is designed for learners who wish to obtain a qualification in the Arts and Culture at A(B)ET Level 4. It aims to identify the different South Africa cultures and their various arts and forms of expression. Learners can apply the knowledge and skills acquired to enrich themselves or to enter a career in the visual and/or performing arts, cultural heritage, arts and cultural education and other cultural vocations. Everyone is creative to a greater or lesser extent. The Level 4 material aims at assisting learners who wish to pursue and develop their creativity to apply the arts for self-expression, social interaction and entrepreneurial purposes.
The material consists of a Facilitators Guide and a Learners Workbook. The material complies with all the National requirements. Level 4 covers 17 credits and canform part of the GETC qualification.
