The Learn and Live Series is material written to develop African Home Language on Level 1 and is based on the A(B)ET prescribed Unit Standards. The Level 1 material aims at equipping adult learners with basic reading and writing skills, and to engender a love of reading, which provides a solid foundation for life-long learning. The Level 1 material was developed in such a manner that learners are constantly engaged in active study, thereby actively involving learners throughout the course.
The Learn and Live Series is available in ten African languages, namely IsiNdebele, IsiXhosa, IsiZulu, Sepedi, Sesotho, Siswati, Setswana, Tshivenḓa, XiTsonga and Afrikaans.
