Via Afrika continues to meet head-on the challenges presented by the transformation in education in South Africa, developing high-quality, innovative learning and teaching materials that are popular with both educators and learners in the classroom. The Via Afrika Series, specially developed for the CAPS curriculum, has achieved incredible success, and has the highest approval rate for a single series in the industry. The successful CAPS materials have added new titles to an already comprehensive backlist.
Via Afrika has been developing digital content for more than a decade, previously under the Via Afrika Future imprint. Our high-quality educational material is currently being used by thousands of learners and teachers country-wide. The Via Afrika series have furthermore been developed into the first CAPS-aligned, eBooks series on the South African market. These eBooks are enhanced with additional material such as videos, slide shows, audio and simulations that can all be accessed without an internet connection on a PC or an Android tablet. Our eBooks have demonstrated the industry-leading place Via Afrika holds in the market.
Via Afrika Stimela has developed an extensive set of adult education materials. The commitment to promoting human dignity, personal growth and positive change has guided the development of learning and teaching support materials for this vital market segment in South Africa. Via Afrika Publishers strives for excellence in all arenas, and is proud to have won the South African Booksellers Association’s Sefika Best Educational Publisher award for three consecutive years, 2011, 2012 and 2013. This award demonstrates the high regard booksellers have for Via Afrika Publishers’ service levels.
